Search Engine Optimization Executive

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and support digital marketing goals.


Key Activities:

On-Page Optimization:

  • Perform keyword research and mapping for target pages.
  • Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, and headers.
  • Ensure internal linking best practices across all pages.
  • Conduct SEO audits and implement technical fixes.
  • Collaborate with content and development teams to implement on-page SEO.
  • Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console.
  • Improve website structure and URL architecture.

Off-Page Optimization:

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies.
  • Identify high-quality backlink opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze backlink profile and domain authority.
  • Collaborate with digital PR or outreach teams to gain quality coverage.

Technical SEO:

Monitor and optimize website crawlability and indexability.

Implement structured data and schema markup.

Improve site speed and mobile performance.

Resolve crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content issues.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track performance metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions).
  • Generate SEO reports and insights using GA4 and SEO tools.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with algorithm changes and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SEO
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog)
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics is a plus
  • Google Analytics and Google Search Console experience is required
  • It is preferable to hold certifications such as Google SEO, HubSpot SEO, or SEMrush SEO Toolkit
